Brookdale Senior Living, the nation’s leading owner and operator of senior living communities, announces the release of a new app for the iPhone and for the Android Market designed to help users of those devices locate and learn about Brookdale communities across the country.
"We are always looking for new and better ways to reach seniors and their families," said Ron Aylor, Senior Vice President of Sales for Brookdale Senior Living. "It is our hope that this app will serve as a useful resource in helping seniors and their families learn more about the lifestyles and care at our communities, and about senior living in general."
The Brookdale app features more than 550 Brookdale Senior Living community profiles, along with a Senior Living Options Guide and access to the Brookdale Twitter feed. In order to help locate nearby senior communities, the app utilizes GPS locator technology and also Turn-by-Turn Google Map driving directions.
The Brookdale app is currently live and available for free download in iTunes and via the Android Market. To download the app, go to iTunes or click on the App Store icon for iPhone or iPad, or search for "Brookdale" in the Android Market.
